We strive to make all our materials safe for all ages.In any event, by using our plans or kits, you hold PicoTurbinesite.com and PicoTurbineInternational.com, its parent company DBA PicoTurbine International, its former parent company Xibokk Research, Inc., and all executives, owners, members, and investors of those companies harmless from any liability in excess of the price you paid for the kit. In no event shall we be liable for any incidental damages from either building or using the results of these plans or kits, and we do not warranty the fitness of these plans or kits for any particular purpose.
All orders will be shipped as soon as possible.
For USA shipping addresses you can choose USPS/FEDX Priority or UPS/FEDEX Ground. Please pay close attention as we do note how long it takes to process the items before shipment. USPS/FEDEX priority mail will take 2-3 business days and FEDEX/UPS ground 5-7 business days.
Orders from all other countries will be shipped using USPS, which will take 6-10 business days to arrive unless FEDEX is chosen which we warn is much higher in price but does offer a much better tracking system and takes about 5 days for your shipment.
All postage calculations are made during checkout and you have a chance to review the postage charges before committing to the order.
If we do change any privacy policy, we will prominently display a notice in a visible place directly on our home page for 30 days prior to the new policy taking effect.
If you buy any kit from PicoTurbine.com, you may return it within 30 days for a full refund. Just package up all the parts, including any that you've cut out from templates, and mail them to:

If you want, you can include a short note explaining what you didn't like about the kit to help us improve, but that's up to you. When we receive the returned item we will send out a refund check within 2 business days. Refunds are for the cost of the kit only; we do not refund shipping charges. If any component is defective, you have the option of just returning that component and we will ship you a replacement free of charge.
After 30 days no refunds will be accepted.
You can use our plans for personal and educational purposes without charge. However, we ask that you do not massively reproduce the plans and give them to other people; we would prefer to receive them from our site so we can track usage. You should not mirror these plans from your own website unless we give you permission to do so, but we would be happy for you to link to our site from yours. Under no circumstances should you modify the plans and retransmit them, or change the copyright notice, or claim that they are yours. This would be considered copyright infringement.
Under no circumstances should you use these plans for any commercial or profit-making purpose, including but not limited to resale of the plans, packaging your own kits based on these plans, or charging fees for running seminars or public talks of any nature that incorporate these plans. The information is only disclosed to entities involved in fulfilling your order, such as the credit card processing company. We don't give out information about click rates of our pages (although we do look at those ourselves to help improve the web site). All FAX transmissions are shredded after processing for security. We don't give your email address, home address, or phone number to anybody so you don't have to worry about spam and junk mail. We will only send you emails with special offers or a thank you.
Kits are guaranteed to contain all necessary components, instructions and to be fully functional when properly assembled. All kits are inspected before being shipped. If customers purchase large quantities we encourage customers to purchase a small number of extra kits to serve as a reserve inventory source for any parts or items which may be damaged during construction or by operator usage. Inexpensive construction projects are generally considered to be "consumable" items, and as such do not have warranties similarly found with more expensive equipment.
PicoTurbine International fully supports and is available to answer any technical questions regarding our kits. Our complete knowledge of our products enables us to trouble shoot and solve most problems via email or by phone. "On-site" support and / or training can be made available, but in most cases is prohibitively expensive due to travel costs. Such requests (on-site service) would be dealt with on a case-by-case basis with all travel, lodging and out-of-pocket expenses paid by the customer. We feel with our documentation and expertise, these expenses are not necessary.
